Velvet Pencil Flocking Machine

Flocking is defined as the application of fine particles to adhesive-coated surfaces, usually by the application of a high-voltage electric field. In a flocking machine the "flock" is given a negative charge whilst the substrate is earthed.Electrostatic flocking machine works to charge textile fibers, and effectively to applies them to adhesive substrates, forming a protection or decoration coverage.The flocking process involves applying short monofilament fibres, usually nylon, rayon or polyester, directly on to a substrate that has been previously coated with an adhesive. The diameter of the individual flock strand is only a few thousandths of a centimeter and ranges in length from 0.25 - 5 mm.
