Air Flow Meter

The air mass sensor, also known as the mass air flow meter, is installed between the air filter housing and the intake manifold. Its job is to determine the air mass flowing into the engine and report this data to the engine control.Depending on the type of application, the Air Flow Meter is made as a hot-wire Air Flow Meter, a vane Air Flow Meter, a cup anemometer, a Pitot tube air flow meter or a pocket weather flow meter, all of which can measure air velocity as well as air pressure. Some can even detect the wind direction.Flow meters are usually used in domestic and various industrial sectors to measure the volume or mass of a liquid or gas, depending on the application.
