It is also being used as one of construction material in Road and Fly over embankment construction and thus helping to save earth and degradation of good agricultural land.Large silos at power stations can store 10,000 to 20,000 short tons of coal, and multiple silos can be installed for the necessary storage requirements. Coal bunkers provide intermediate storage ahead of other coal processing equipment such as pulverizers.
