Gas Flare Stack

A gas flare, alternatively known as a flare stack, flare boom, ground flare, or flare pit is a gas combustion device used in places such as petroleum refineries, chemical plants and natural gas processing plants, oil or gas extraction sites having oil wells, gas wells, offshore oil and gas rigs and landfills.The waste gas stream is fed through a stack from 50 to 250 meters tall and is combusted at the tip of the stack head, so that the heat generated will not cause safety problems and for the reduction of noise. The elevated flare, can be (steam assisted, air assisted or non- assisted).
