Industrial Globe Valves

A globe valve is a type of linear motion valve used to start, stop, and regulate the flow of fluid in a pipeline. It has a disc or plug that moves toward/away from a stationary seat, inside a generally globe‑shaped body. Because of their design, globe valves are especially good at throttling (partially opening) flow. Key parts: Body with inlet and outlet ports, often with a bonnet on top through which the stem passes. Seat ring (stationary) inside the body against which the disc seals. Disc / plug (movable) connected to a stem. Stem & Handwheel / Actuator to move the disc. Bonnet (bolted, screw‑in, pressure‑seal etc.) encloses the moving parts. Packing / Gasket around stem to avoid leakage.
