Grain Storage and Handling Systems

Grain/Malt handling systems are facilities that may receive, handle, store, process and ship bulk raw agricultural commodities such as corn, wheat, oats, barley, sunflower seeds, and soybeans.A grain-storage facility is defined as a system that is designed, structured and equipped to receive, clean, dry, store and dispatch grains and/or seeds (Kudra, 1996). Storage in silos or warehouses equipped with thermometry, aeration and other resources helps maintain grain quality.
