Gravity Centrifugal Concentrator

Gravity Concentrator is an enhanced automated gravity separation system that has been developed specifically to address the requirement for high concentrate mass yield. It can be found operating at numerous sites worldwide providing excellent mineral separation and recovery.The equipment essentially has a 'V' shaped cone with a series of parallel riffles and many small holes inside the cone. The cone rotates at a speed of 1500 RPM, producing a centrifugal force of 60 g. Water is fluidised through the small holes and the lighter particles are carried away by the water to tailings stream.
