NC Guillotine Sheet Cutting Machine

A paper guillotine or cutter is a mechanical device used to cut or trim large stacks of paper or documents at the same time. They were first pioneered in the mid-nineteenth century. There are many different types today but all feature some form of blade and a flat surface on which to place the paper. A metal guillotine is used to cut sheet metal in a variety of thicknesses. The process is similar to that of cutting a piece of paper and the guillotine has blades to cut sheets from the side of the metal. The shearing ensures that there is minimal distortion and quality results are obtained.
