Hand Shearing

Blade shearing or hand shearing is the style of shearing sheep and other animals with fibrous coats (alpaca, llama, goats etc.) with a set of specialized scissors. It is practiced in many parts of the world as both an occupation and a sport.Most shearers use the method in which the sheep is set upon its rump and supported firmly between the shearer's knees. 2) The skin should be stretched so that it is smooth in the area being shorn. 3) Wool fibres should be cut only once next to the skin to avoid "second cuts" or short fibres of reduced value.Shearing is pressure and friction, injuring the skin at the same time. It happens more often than people realize because it is so easy to occur. Both can happen even in the best situation, by accident, just in the blink of an eye.
