Description
A nickel-molybdenum-chromium alloy with an addition of tungsten having excellent corrosion resistance in a wide range of severe environments. The high molybdenum content makes the alloy especially resistant to pitting and crevice corrosion. The low carbon content minimizes carbide precipitation during welding to maintain corrosion resistance in as-welded structures. Used in pollution control, chemical processing, pulp and paper production and waste treatment.STANDARD PRODUCT FORMSPipe, tube, sheet, strip, plate, round bar, flat bar, forgingstock, hexagon and wire.MAJOR SPECIFICATIONSUNS N10276ASTM B 366, B 462, B 564, B 574,B 575, B 619, B 622, B 626,B 751, B 775, B 829DIN 17744, 17750 – 17754Werkstoff Nr. 2.4819VdTÜV 400ASME SB-366, SB-564,SB-574, SB-575, SB-619,SB-622, SB-626, SB-751,SB-775, SB-829ASME Code Case 1924NACE MR-0175/ISO 15156ISO 6207, 6208, 9723 – 9725LIMITING CHEMICAL COMPOSITION, %Ni........RemainderMo..... 15.0 – 17.0Cr......14.5 – 16.5Fe........... 4.0 – 7.0W............3.0 – 4.5Co........... 2.5 max.Mn.......... 1.0 max.C...........0.01 max.V...........0.35 max.P...........0.04 max.S...........0.03 max.Si..........0.08 max.PHYSICAL CONSTANTS AND THERMALPROPERTIESDensity,Ib/in3..........................................................................0.321g/cm3.........................................................................8.89Melting Point,°F......................................................2415– 2500°C......................................................1325– 1370Specific Heat, Btu/lb•°F.....................................................0.102J/kg•°C...........................................................427Coefficient of Expansion, 70 – 200°F, 10-6in/in •°F........6.824 – 100°C, μm/m •°C.......... 12.2Thermal Conductivity, Btu • in/ft2h•°F............................67.9W/m•°C..............................................9.8Electrical Resistivity, ohm • circmil/ft...........................739.2μΩ•m...............................................1.229Permeability at 200 Oersted (15.9kA/m).................. 1.0002TYPICAL MECHANICAL PROPERTIES
