A triplex piston pump is a reciprocating positive displacement pump that uses only three pistons. This type of pump is often used for high pressure applications e.g. hydraulic systems. Due to its robust design, it is capable of pumping high viscosity fluids and fluids which contain solids.High pressure pumps mean those pumps with a conveying height of approx. 200 to a maximum of 1200 metres.
