Commercial Medium Pressure Triplex Pump

A triplex piston pump is a reciprocating positive displacement pump that uses only three pistons. This type of pump is often used for high pressure applications e.g. hydraulic systems. Triplex plunger pumps are more expensive but offer longer life and better performance.Duplex pumps have two liners and move mud on the forward and backward strokes. Triplex pumps have three liners and move mud only on the forward stroke. Air/gas compressors are used only when drilling with gaseous or gasified fluids.
