However, they can operate at much higher speeds and withstand more frequent cycles than both acme and ball screws, making them an ideal choice for demanding, continuous-duty applications. Compared to similarly sized screws: Roller screws are more efficient than acme screws. They can carry larger loads than ball screws – up to 779,000 lbf.
