Power-up (or the synonym "power-on") is a verb meaning to apply electrical power to a device - that is, to "turn it on" as most of us would say about turning on a light switch when entering a dark room.​to stop a machine, especially a computer, by turning off the electricity supply. Power Up Items are certain Ultra Items or Weapons that allow their user to reach a new form, most often their final in-series form or movie form. Some of them also double as Transformation Items or Series Collectibles and often have to interact with them in order to function.
