Double Conversion UPS

A double-conversion on-line UPS converts power twice. First, AC input, with all of its voltage spikes, distortion, and other anomalies, is converted into DC. A double-conversion on-line UPS uses a capacitor to stabilize this DC voltage and store energy drawn from the AC input.Double conversion UPS are suitable for mission-critical equipment and devices that need greater power stability to handle their load draws from the main power supply. Both UPS systems offer the basic protections to manage surges, power fluctuations, and blackouts.
