EVA stands for Ethylene-Vinyl Acetate, which is a plastic that has been created to have rubber like properties, however it is softer and far more flexible than rubber. This allows for easy sole moulding & construction but more importantly an extremely comfortable sole to walk in.It's an extremely elastic material that can be processed like other thermoplastics. The material has low-temperature toughness, stress-crack and UV radiation resistance. EVA is widely used in the orthotic and prosthetic market for soft inner liners, inner boots, orthotics for hand and wrist, and more.
