Description
DTF Hot Melt Powder – Description for DTF Printers Product Name: DTF Hot Melt Adhesive Powder Type: Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU) Powder Usage: For Direct to Film (DTF) Printing Description: DTF Hot Melt Powder is a high-performance adhesive powder specially formulated for DTF (Direct-to-Film) printing. It is applied over the printed DTF film to bond the ink to the fabric during the heat press process. This powder melts and activates when heat is applied, creating a strong, durable, and flexible bond between the printed design and the textile. Key Features: Strong Adhesion: Ensures excellent bonding to a wide variety of fabrics including cotton, polyester, blends, and more. Soft Feel: Maintains the softness and stretchability of the fabric after transfer. High Wash Fastness: Prints remain intact even after multiple washes (up to 40-50 washes depending on conditions). Consistent Flowability: Uniform particle size ensures smooth application and even coating. Non-Toxic & Eco-Friendly: Free from harmful substances, making it safe for use and wear. Types (Based on Mesh Size): Fine (0-80 microns): Best for detailed designs and smooth finish. Medium (80-120 microns): Common for general use with good balance of adhesion and finish. Coarse (120-200 microns): Suitable for thick fabrics or heavy-duty prints. Application Process: Print: Print your design on DTF film using DTF printer and DTF inks. Powder Coating: While ink is still wet, apply DTF hot melt powder evenly over the print. Shake Off Excess: Remove excess powder. Cure: Heat the film in a curing oven or under a heat press at 160–170°C for 2–3 minutes until powder melts and gels. Transfer: Place the film on the fabric and heat press at 160–170°C for 10–15 seconds. Peel: Cold peel or hot peel depending on the powder type and film. Packaging: Available in 500g, 1kg, 5kg, and 10kg bags Resealable, moisture-proof packaging for longer shelf life Applications: T-shirts Hoodies Bags Caps Sportswear Uniforms and more
