It is a monitoring device used with Extra-High Voltage (EHV) surge arresters to record discharge events and monitor leakage current. Counting Mechanism: 6-digit mechanical cyclometer that records significant discharge events (at least 5 counts/second). Leakage Current Monitoring: Includes an analog milli-ammeter with a scale of 0 to 5 mA. Green Zone: 0–3 mA (Normal operation). Red Zone: 3–5 mA (Indicates potential arrester deterioration or contamination). Minimum Operating Current: 100 Amps for an 8/20 µsec wave. Protection Rating: Tested for IP67 degree of protection, making it weatherproof and suitable for harsh outdoor environments.
