Hydraulic Oil Coolers

A Hydraulic Oil Cooler is quite simply a device used for the cooling of Hydraulic Oil, usually in Hydraulic Power Packs but they can also be used on Power Washers, Engines and almost anything where there is hot oil to be cooled.Air-cooled hydraulic-oil coolers dissipate heat by forcing cold air over hot fluid inside a heat exchanger. They typically have low operating costs and are simple to maintain. Other cooler types include refrigerated chillers and evaporative cooling towers.Hydraulic systems in mobile machinery transform and transmit energy. During this process mechanical and hydraulic energy is lost and converted into heat. It is extremely important to cool down the hydraulic system in this process.An oil cooler is a separate, smaller radiator to an engine's main radiator, which maintains an oil supply at a consistent, optimal temperature. Its purpose is to cool the oil passing through the coils, thus improving the engine and the transmission's lifetime. They are situated in front of an engine's cooling system.
