Hydrostatic pressure test pumps are common procedure used to check fluid pressure vessel, such as, cylinders, boiler, tubes pipe, valves, castings, components etc.. Hydrostatic pressure test is also a common testing procedure to verify pressure vessels do not leak or have manufacturing flaws.Electric Hydrostatic Test Pumps are designed for pressure testing water systems such as water meters, plumbing lines, pressure vessels, solar systems and sprinkler systems, in both residential and commercial buildings. The output pressure is easily adjusted by turning a knob and watching the attached gauge.The way it works is by first pumping water into a closed pipeline. Once the system is shut and locked you can test for any leakage in the pipeline. Many pumps are Honda powered and have been pre-tested and serviced to make sure they are ready to be used.Pump liquid into system until desired pressure is reached. Use long pump handle strokes to fill system (high vol- ume, low pressure) Do not use handle extensions. Use short pump handle strokes to reach desired pres- sure (low volume, high pressure). Closely monitor pressure to avoid exceeding the test/rated pressure.
