HEC is a non-ionic soluble cellulose ethers derived from natural fibers. It is easily dispersed and dissolved in water to produce solution of high viscosity. HEC has excellent functionalities in thickening Suspension, binding emulsion film stability, dispersion water retention, anti-microbial properties and colloid protection etc. HEC is commonly used as thickener in paints & coating formulation to increases the viscosity of the product.
