Kulfi Packaging

Kulfi packaging is designed for automatic wrapping and sealing of kulfi, ice cream bars, popsicles, and similar frozen treats. In this machine a mechanism feeds the material automatically and creates center seals that do not fail. It is possible for the system to process BOPP, PP, laminated film or LDPE with a maximum reel width of 300 mm. For production lines that move at a moderate pace, the output is between 20 and 60 packs every minute. By using mild steel for the frame, the structure remains solid and the electrical usage is between 2 and 4 kW. As the machine operates, it accommodates pack widths from 100 - 200 mm. To prevent any physical breakage, the components move frozen products with low force. When operators change the sealing plus film tension settings, the appearance of the packs is uniform and the amount of discarded material is small. Due to the small physical size and the simple control layout, it is easy for workers to change parts or perform repairs within food production facilities.
