Industrial Inclined Belt Conveyor

Inclined Conveyors are used to bring products from one level to another via a hinged or flexible belt. Products can be controlled by cleats on the belt during elevation, and kept on the belt by flights or side rail systems. Inclined conveyors have a sheet metal frame with pulleys at either end.The drive roller is usually installed in the discharge side, in order to increase traction, it is conducive to drag, the material is fed from the feeding end, falling on the rotating conveyor belt and conveying the material to the discharge end.There are two main industrial classes of belt conveyors; Those in general material handling such as those moving boxes along inside a factory and bulk material handling such as those used to transport large volumes of resources and agricultural materials, such as grain, salt, coal, ore, sand, overburden and more.They are used in a number of applications in the food processing, manufacturing and other heavy industries. Industries where these conveyor belt systems are excelling and they include automotive, computer, good, packaging, print finishing, bottling and canning, chemical, pharmaceutical, aerospace and food processing. T roughed belt conveyors are generally not effective at inclines greater than 18 degrees, as material slippage on the belt becomes a major concern. Conversely, steep incline conveyors can convey material at inclines up to 90°.
