The Indentation Hardness Polyurethane Foam Tester consists of a shear beam type load cell over which the test specimen is kept. The test specimen is pressed with an inventor of the specified dimension mounted on self/ aligning ball bearing such that it can adjust its inclination to match the top face of the test specimen. The inventor can be moved down manually through the hand wheel (as well as by motor and gearbox) and screw arrangement, thickness is measured on Digital Meter and Compression load is also measured by a digital indicator and the corresponding load is measured on the digital readout of the load cell.
