An industrial dryer is a high powered complex device designed to remove moisture from machinery, products, materials, food products, and mixtures. They are large rugged durable industrial pieces of equipment capable of drying high volumes of product efficiently with exceptional precision and control.A compressed air dryer is a piece of equipment designed to separate water vapor or moisture (de-humidify) from industrial process air. In the typical system, a compressor draws in humid air and compresses it, which raises the air temperature and then cooling the air condensing water vapor out of the unit.27-Jul-2020The basic function of the air dryer is to remove moisture from the air by cooling it with a refrigerant. Thus, the water vapor is condensed, and the air can be compressed. The result is dry compressed air, which can be used in compressed air equipment without causing any damage.The outgoing cooled air pre-cools the hot incoming air, condensing the moisture present into liquid water which is drained out of the system. The pre-cooled air then enters an air-to-refrigerant heat exchanger which cools it using a liquid refrigerant.
