Cryogenic Pump

Submerged cryogenic pumps are used when low temperatures are needed for liquids to be transported. As a consequence, they're a common feature in the production and transport of liquid nitrogen, liquid natural gas (LNG), liquid Helium, and liquid Oxygen and in ship to ship bunkering processes.Cryopump is a pump that condenses and adsorbs gas molecules on a cryogenic surface so that all gas molecules can be stored in the pump. This pump does not have anything that works in a vacuum chamber. Since this pump does not use oil, it obtains a clean vacuum.All pumps use basic forces of nature to move a liquid. As the moving pump part (impeller, vane, piston diaphragm,etc.) begins to move, air is pushed out of the way. The movement of air creates a partial vacuum (low pressure) which can be filled up by more air, or in the case of water pumps, water.
