Push Back Rack

The Push Back Racks consists of mild steel that resists impact and wear for years. The frame rises four metres - it uses the full height of a bay. Six wheel lanes sit one above the other - each lane accepts a pallet - twenty four pallets fit in a four metre cube. The uprights and beams carry a powder coat of orange paint that reflects light and shows clearly through fork truck masts. A pallet sets on a pair of trolleys that roll on a slight incline. When the truck places a second pallet against the first, the rear pallet pushes the front pallet back - when the truck removes the front pallet, gravity rolls the next pallet forward. The lane holds two, three or four pallets deep, yet the truck never enters the rack. The steel sections meet the load tables for food, chemical or hardware pallets and withstand daily hits from 2.5-ton trucks. The system turns one aisle into four pallet faces and cuts pick time to one lift motion.
