Wooden Stairs

Wooden Stairs: These are made of wood. Two stringers are placed, over which the tread-pieces rest. The balusters and balustrades, which consist of a row of balusters, surmounted by a hand rail for protection of the users, and newel posts are generally made of wood. These stairs are generally used in wooden buildings. In buildings, stairs is a term applied to a complete flight of steps between two floors. A stair flight is a run of stairs or steps between landings.
