Door Frames

The door frame is the associate to which a door is fixed or hung. The door frame consists of an assembly of horizontal and vertical members which are placed at the top, bottom and sides of an opening so as to form an enclosure providing support for a door.The primary purpose of the door jambs, and the door frame as a whole, is to provide a lasting support for the door. When hung, the door relies on this framing. The door jambs and other components of the frame are installed with care to ensure that the door hangs level to the floor.
