Pyrolytic Boron Nitride (pBN), with a combination of high electrical resistance and thermal conductivity, is an excellent candidate to consider for applications where superior strength, low coefficient of thermal expansion and thermal shock resistance are required. Nonhazardous, nonporous and exceptionally pure, pBN can be applied as a coating on graphite or deposited and then easily machined into 2D or 3D shapes for use as crucibles, boats, plates, wafers, tubes and bottles.
