Laser Rangefinder, For Distance Measuring

A laser rangefinder (LRF) is a device that uses a laser beam to measure distance to an object. The most common method of distance measurement is the time-of-flight (TOF) principle, which works by sending a narrow beam of laser pulses towards an object and measuring how long it takes for the light to bounce back: The LRF sends a narrow beam of laser pulses towards the object. A receiver detects the reflection of the light. The LRF calculates the distance based on the time it took for the light to bounce back.
