The embossing of leather. Embossing is the art of producing raised patterns on the natural grain of an animal skin. The design is created by pressing rolling, or stamping. Embossments can cover the entire surface of a skin or just selected areas.Embossing Leather allows you to create a design or pattern on the leather that can be used for decoration or identification purposes. This process involves pressing a heated metal die into the leather and leaving an impression of whatever design has been imprinted onto it.
