Description
Magnetic float level gauge involve the use of a permanent magnet sealed inside a float whose rise and fall causes the opening or closing of a mechanical switch, either through direct contact or in proximity of a reed switch. With mechanically actuated floats, the float is directly connected to a micro switch. For magnetic level gauge, chemical compatibility, temperature, specific gravity (density),operating pressure affect the selection of the stem and the float. Besides Magnetc we also provide the following types of level gaugesTubular Level Gauge:This type level Gauge is used for observation at the liquid level application at medium and low pressure. Tubular Level Gauges are designed to view liquid levels using clear or red line Borosilicate tubing. All valves use a stuffing box configuration to seal the glass tube and have a ball check shutoff to prevent loss of vessel contents in case of glass failure. Transparent Level Gauge:These are assembled with two numbers of totally transparent toughened glasses to give a thorough vision of liquid levels. These gauges are recommended for interface levels, colored fluids where color is of interest to the process behavior and services where excessive foaming may exist. In high-pressure boilers, these gauges are recommended to be used with mica shields. Reflex Level Gauge: These are assembled with flat glasses with inner surfaces of reflecting prisms. Due to total internal reflection liquid level shows black in contrast to a mirror-like surface above. The gauges are used for services where observation is required at a distance and on boilers/vessels.
