Top Mount Media Type: Liquid KPB-A Microwave type Level Switches

The Level Switch KPB-A CE and SIL certifed Level Switch. It is designed to detect level in tanks, and it is available in little long sensing probe e.g. approx 300 mm.It can be used for media separation and provide empty-pipe detection or can be used for dry-run protection for pumps. The process connection of this model is 1/2" BSP (M) and we offer the Adjustable Insertion type connection in that model.We offer PNP Digital output form this Level Switch.A high frequency sweep signal is radiated from the sensor tip into the tank. The media will act as a virtual capacitor, which together with a coil in the sensor head, will form a circuit creating the switch point signal. This virtual capacitance will depend of the di-electric value DK (Di-electrical constant) of the media.
