Description
SMARTsaa developed Capacitance type continuous level transmitter for measuring levels of conducting and non conducting liquids. APPLICATION: Level measurement of liquids in tank and vessels with analogue O/P Level transmitter for conducting liquids like water, feed water, fruit juice, milk, wine acids and non conducting liquid like oils , diesel and hydrocarbons like Acetone, Ammonia and Benzene OPERATING PRINCIPLE: The probe forms an electrical capacitor with the surrounding metal contained wall, or with auxiliary reference probe. With the vessel empty, initial capacitances exists between the electrode and the metal well or the auxiliary reference probe. When the probe become covered with material to be measured the capacitances will increase and the change will be measured and covered into an analogue (4-20 mA) output signal proportional to the change.
