Vibrating Wire Centre Hole Load Cell

Vibrating Wire Centre Hole Load Cell are used for measurement and control of loads, in Rock bolts, tiebacks anchors, foundation anchors tunnel supports and in prestressing of concrete "presstressed girdars" used for Bridge & elevated construction. The VW Load cells consists a set of 3 or 6 vibraing wire gauges ,mounted parallel to each other, equally spaced in a ring in an "alloy steel cylinder". The method of construction results in a very robust instrument suitable for use where high perforamnce, ongevity and mechanical strength are of prime importance. The change in load acting on the load cell is proportional to the difference of the squarred frequency of vibration for the corrosponding load. The reading are taken with the help of a Portable digital raedout unit, aso suitable for remote monitoring. Application: load in rock bolts, tiebacks, foundation anchors and tunnel support,tension in cable anchors and multistrand tendon anchors.
