Mahindra DG Sets

The 15 kVA Mahindra DG Sets is a sturdy three phase diesel generator built for factories, shops and offices. It works at a power factor of 0.8 lag plus keeps the voltage steady. A Mahindra Powerol diesel engine drives the unit - the engine burns little fuel, emits few pollutants and runs quietly. A 12-volt DC starter motor turns the engine over but also brings the set to full speed within seconds. The frame measures roughly 1700 mm long, 900 mm wide and 1250 mm high - the whole machine weighs little enough for one forklift to move and fits in most plant rooms or on rooftops. The engine meets the CPCB-IV+ rules for exhaust smoke as well as toxic gases - it stays within legal limits while it supplies power.
