Description

A heat sealer is a machine used to seal products, packaging, and other thermoplastic materials using heat. This can be with uniform thermoplastic mono layers or with materials having several layers, at least one being thermoplastic. Both the Impulse Sealers and Constant Heat Sealers are safe if used properly. This element will apply to both sealing machines but is important to consider when purchasing your new production tool. There are two common types of sealers to choose from – film forming and penetrating, with each offering their own different benefits and each suitable for different applications. Adiseal is the best external waterproof sealant. It seals instantly even underwater. It has high mould resistance.A set point of 700-727°F is recommended for most heat sealing. Different thicknesses of materials should be accommodated by varying the dwell time, keeping the same temperature.A sealer can seal between 1,000-5,000 seals before the element becomes worn and breaks. This number will vary significantly based on the timer setting. Note: Thicker materials will require a higher timer setting, which will decrease the number of seals.
