Fiber laser marking refers to the process of leaving an impression on items using a fiber laser beam of light. The marking machine extracts concentrated energy from light and uses it as the laser beam.Laser marking is a permanent marking solution for the part identification and traceability of steel workpieces. You can rely on fiber lasers to mark all types of metal alloys, like anodized steel, carbon steel, die steel, and stainless steel. Fiber lasers use pump light from what is called laser diodes. These diodes emit light that is sent into the fiber-optic cable. Optical components located in the cable are then used to generate a specific wavelength and amplify it. Finally, the resulting laser beam is shaped and released.
