A metering pump must be able to deliver liquid with an accuracy of greater than 3% across a wide range of discharge pressures.A metering pump is a form of reciprocating pump that uses positive displacement to release a precise amount of a liquid with each of its strokes. The rotary motion of the pump is converted into reciprocating motion through the use of a wheel and worm shaft.
