Online Milking Parlor

A milking parlor is part of a building where cows are milked on a dairy farm. Cows are brought to the milking parlor to be milked and are then returned to a feeding and/or resting area.Static parlors consist of models such as parallel and Herringbone parlors, where cows are brought into the milking parlor either individually or by groups. In rotary barns, all cows enter and exit the parlor individually and the milking stalls are located on a rotor.Advantages of this parlor is that it can hold cows on both sides of the run and usually holds up to twenty-four cows, twelve on each side of the run. Disadvantages of the design is that the front of the udder is not visible so putting on machines and sanitizing the udder can be difficult.
