Dal mill machine is used for peeling and Splitting grains. Finished product rate is 5% higher than similar products, and the service life is 5 years longer than similar products. Dal machine can be used for peeling and splitting various grains, and beautiful finished product.The conversion of pulses seed into Dal is done through the process of milling. A Dal mill should be located in rural or semi-urban area which have excess production of pulses and connected to market. The project deals with variety of dal such as Masoor Dal, Chana Dal, Urad Dal, etc.It is soaked in water for 60-90 minutes and heaped for uniform moisture absorption and dried in the sun for 2-3 days till fully dried. It is fed into mini dal mill at 90-100 rpm. The split dal falls in the cone chamber from control plate, which is separated into whole dal, broken and husk through an aspirator.The mill consists of four units viz., splitting unit, sieve, aspirator and polisher. The premilling treatment is given by soaking difficult to mill pulses grains in sodium bicarbonate solution.
