Modular conveyor

Modular belt conveyor are a middle ground between belt conveyors and chain conveyors. A modular belt consists of individual plastic modules usually linked together with joint rods. This modular belt is driven by chain ; the base frame of the conveyor is constructed on standard profile supports.There are two basic types of conveyors: powered and gravity. Powered conveyors have some sort of external energy source to keep the items on the conveyor moving, typically by manipulating the conveyor surface.Common types are belt, roller, motorized roller and overhead conveyors. We them as floor style (mounted on the floor) or overhead. Use them to move products, create buffers and deliver products in sequence for a production line.
