Description
The ANELLO Optical Gyroscope GNSS/INS Evaluation Kit (EVK) is a cutting-edge navigation solution designed for industries that demand independent, reliable, and accurate positioning in the most challenging environments. Powered by ANELLO's patented SiPhOG™ optical gyroscope technology, this evaluation kit delivers reference-grade performance at an affordable cost, making it ideal for advanced research, autonomous systems, and precision machine control. This EVK integrates dual 184-channel, five-constellation, dual-band GNSS receivers supporting GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou (Compass), and QZSS. With RTK accuracy of 0.02 m CEP and heading accuracy of 0.2° RMS, it ensures centimeter-level precision even in multipath, GNSS-denied, or degraded signal conditions. The system maintains <0.5°/hr unaided heading drift, enabling reliable navigation during extended GNSS outages with wheel-speed aiding. The onboard optical gyroscope provides unmatched stability with bias instability <0.5°/hr and angle random walk <0.05°/√hr, while the integrated 6-axis MEMS IMU enhances robustness with accelerometer and gyroscope ranges up to 4g and 2000°/s respectively. Together, these sensors deliver 200 Hz position, velocity, and attitude updates, ensuring smooth and accurate navigation for autonomous land vehicles, ADAS systems, heavy equipment, and machine control applications. The EVK is engineered for rugged environments, operating reliably from -40°C to +85°C, withstanding 5g vibration (IEC 60068-2-6) and 40g shock survival (MIL-STD-810G). Its compact form factor (4.2" x 1.5" x 5.0") and lightweight design (1.0 lbs.) make it easy to integrate into diverse platforms. Connectivity is seamless with Ethernet, CAN, and USB (dual UART) interfaces, while the included open-source Python program supports configuration, logging, NTRIP relay, and data visualization. The EVK package comes complete with the ANELLO GNSS/INS unit, two dual-band GNSS antennas, and all required cables, ensuring a ready-to-use solution for evaluation and integration. With its low power consumption (4 W typical), fast RTK initialization (<1 min with RTCM3 corrections), and future-proof multi-constellation support, the ANELLO EVK is a versatile tool for developers, researchers, and system integrators seeking high-precision navigation at scale. Applications include: Autonomous land vehicles and robotics Advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) Precision agriculture and heavy equipment control Surveying, mapping, and geospatial applications Defense, aerospace, and industrial navigation solutions The ANELLO Optical Gyroscope GNSS/INS EVK represents the next generation of affordable, high-performance inertial navigation, combining the accuracy of reference-grade systems with the practicality of mass-market deployment.
