Steel Mild Cabin

Zion Cabins fabricates the Steel Mild Cabin from 2 mm mild steel sheet. Each panel interlocks with the next through a tongue-and-groove seam - creating a monocoque shell that resists racking under wind loads of 120 km/h. A two coat epoxy primer and polyurethane topcoat shield the metal from salt spray but also UV exposure for a minimum of five years. A 100 mm × 50 mm I-beam undercarriage distributes point loads across a 12 mm chequered plate floor. The exterior arrives finished in RAL 9016 traffic white with RAL 5010 gentian blue trim. The cabin houses two workers or secures tools and documents at construction sites, quarries along with rail sidings.
