A notebook (also known as a notepad, writing pad, drawing pad, or legal pad) is a book or stack of paper pages that are often ruled and used for purposes such as note-taking, journaling or other writing, drawing, or scrapbooking.The collective notebook method is a brainwriting variant. It is suitable for collecting ideas over a longer period of time. All participants initially collect their ideas on their own. In a second step, they put all the ideas together and work on them in teamwork. IdeaClouds has provided its own process for this.Depending on the purpose of your notebook, a light weight paper stock such as 80-90gsm is adequate for note taking and general purpose use. A heavier stock such as 140gsm can provide a base for a sketcher's pad or for formal writing purposes. Paper over 110gsm can be used for end papers.
