Oil Chiller

An oil cooler is a mechanical device that is used to remove surplus heat from internal combustion engines through a heat-exchanger. An oil chiller provides cooling of the oil-based lubricant in various industrial applications - especially in filtration. At HYFRA, customers can find the right continuous flow chillers and immersion (aka “drop-in”) chillers.An oil cooler is a radiator-like component specifically designed to keep your oil cool. It consists of tubes and fins that allow for good airflow to pass through. Usually, they are placed where they can receive maximum airflow such as in front of or behind the radiator or fans.Chillers transfer heat away from a space that requires climate control much like a traditional split system or package unit does, but they use water (or a water solution) to do so instead of air. There are two types of chillers: water-cooled and air-cooled.
