Oil Free Air Compressor

An oil-free air compressor is a type of compressor that uses pre-lubricating materials like Teflon to coat its compression elements instead of oil. Some oil-free compressors may also use water in place of oil for the lubricating and cooling process.While oil-free air compressors are cheaper, lighter and require less maintenance, oil air compressors are more durable. As the oil-free compressors are pre-lubricated, there is no constant maintenance and the unit tends to get dry when the Teflon starts wearing out. They don't last as long as oil air compressors.For industrial purposes and longer working hours, oil lubricated air compressors are better suited due to their durability and longer life spans. Oil free compressors can only support small amounts of usage and have a shorter life span, so would be ideal for more domestic applications.
