Oil Heaters

Oil heaters consist of metal columns with cavities inside, where heat transfer oil flows freely around the heater. A heating element at the base of the heater heats up the oil, which flows around the cavities of the heater by convection. The oil has a relatively high specific heat capacity and high boiling point.There are two types of heating oil – gas oil and kerosene. Gas oil (also known as red diesel and 35-second oil) is generally for commercial and agricultural use. Kerosene (also known as home heating oil or 28-second oil) is a lighter oil that is used in many homes.Unlike other types of heaters, the entirety of the power used to run an oil-filled space heater is converted into heat. They're comfortable. They don't dry out the ambient air in a room like other heating systems do. Oil-filled space heaters also make virtually no noise when running.
