The typical dynamic Checkweigher consists of three conveyors one before the load cell (infeed conveyor), one mounted on the load cell (Weighing Conveyor) and the third after the load cell (Out feed Conveyor). The speeds of all the conveyors are the same and can be adjusted depending on the type of product. There are three sensors; first sensor is mounted on infeed conveyor , second one is on weighing conveyor and third one on out-feed conveyor. The first sensor senses the presence of the product and gives the signal to PLC and to second sensor ; second sensor senses and gives the signal to load cell to weigh the product and passes the information to PLC and gives signal to check the weight. The third sensor senses the exit of the weighed product and also gives the decision for acceptance and rejection of product to PLC & Solenoid Valve . The logic of the Checkweigher is such that after every start, the first product is rejected into the rejection. Because of the same the load cell calibration is mandatory. The rejection system is by means of pneumatic based on customer requirement it will be decided either one of pusher type or of blow off.
